We know that the purpose of cutting the protective film is generally 4:

1. How to deal with the difference in uniformity of the end face of the scuttling film
There are probably three reasons for this problem
Cause one: The cutting time electrical tracking is not accurate
The solution:
1. The adjustment method and working state of the photoelectric eye are not correct, and should be adjusted according to the requirements of the operating rules.
2. The color difference of the tracking line is not obvious, and the color difference contrast should be increased.
Cause two: the winding tension is small.
Solution: Increase the winding tension and add appropriate amount of new magnetic powder to the magnetic powder clutch if necessary.
Cause 3: Electrostatic accumulation occurs in the film, and adhesion or drift occurs between the films.
Solution: Connect the electrostatic conduction device to the cutting device, and touch one of the antennae to the back of the film roll.
Second, how are the longitudinal stripes produced on the surface of the film roll?
Longitudinal striations refer to annular lines formed on the surface of the film roll. Reasons for this phenomenon:
1, in the slitting/rewinding process, a large amount of air clamping and accumulated thickness tolerance is the main reason for the production of longitudinal stripes, once the degree of more serious stripes is difficult to eliminate. One of the reasons is that the slitting speed is too fast. Generally speaking, longitudinal striation and split-level quality problems are most likely to occur at high speed.
2, the operation accuracy of the equipment. For equipment with high operating accuracy requirements, after a long period of continuous use, the operating accuracy of some parts has decreased. For large scutters, it is more difficult to ensure the accuracy of operation due to the large operating parts. And because the plastic film is a polymer product, its thickness is very thin, and it is more vulnerable to damage in processing, so once the operation accuracy is not enough, it is easy to produce quality problems such as longitudinal stripes. So far, in the replacement of equipment parts, accessories should be careful, it is appropriate to choose durable, high precision parts, and installation must also ensure a certain precision, otherwise it is difficult to meet the needs of the slitter operation.
Third, why does the bottom wrinkle phenomenon appear?
The bottom wrinkle occurs only in the length of the film at the beginning of the winding, and is manifested as many and deep wrinkles and stripes, which are caused by many factors.
For example, in terms of process parameters, different types of slitting machines, the setting methods, methods, and values of process parameters are different. The performance of the equipment itself and the intrinsic performance of the film have a great impact on the quality of the film slitting and winding, but the appropriate process can improve the quality problems such as longitudinal stripes and bottom wrinkles. Different equipment and different types of specifications of the film to use the appropriate cutting process, equipment conditions can also be changed by the process adjustment to compensate, but the process adjustment must be careful.
